• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Apache says OK, but does not start

I just updated to V8 from the last 7.5.4 version and my apache server won't start.

I was first getting errors from Zend, which I corrrected, and now apache says it's starting, but never comes up. There are absolutely no errors in the apache error logs. If I start from the shell, from Plesk, or with websrvmng everything looks like it's starting up, but then there are no apache processes running and all sites are down.

Has anyone seen this? or have any ideas on what to look for? I've been at it for almost 2 hours and can't get this damn thing running.
