S spaceout Basic Pleskian Dec 8, 2006 #1 When I try to restart Apache from within Plesk or if I type "service httpd restart" at the command line it fails...however if I use "apachectl restart" it works fine. What's the best way of finding out why this is happening?

D dom974 Guest Dec 11, 2006 #2 check your httpd logs (/var/logs/httpd) You should find your error pretty easily (I think apache is one of the coolest service to debug when experiencing errors)
