apache won't start

hi can any one help, apache is stopped and it wont start i get this error from ssh.

starting httpd: (98) Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443
no listening sockets available, shutting down
unable to open logs
[failed]

question. if i do reboot of the server would i lose my files or databases?
thanks anyhelp would be appreciated.

i think i got it to work i had to kill a process that uses 443 which is ./xh -s /usr/sbin/httpds ./syslogd does any one know what process this is. i am hoping i didn't break anything. thanks
