  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Application Vault permissions

In Plesk it seems by having anything in the application vault it is open to all Clients and domains no matter what their permissions are.

Is there a way to pick and choose what applications are available to which clients/domains?

For instance, if I want a client to be able to install one program but not another, how do I do that?

Thanks!

Check in the control panel, under Clients - Application Pool icon.

Is that new to 7.5? If so, that's great! I'm getting ready to upgrade to 7.5. I just wanted to make sure that option was in there!

Thanks!

Ah, thank you very much. I also found the button for it in 7.1.6. I thought you had menat just under the clients section. You meant under an actual client.

Thanks for all your help!
Matt
