Hi NaSOnWeb,

please contact your service provider OVH in this case, because the error is caused by their mirror.

If you would like to solve the issue without them, then you may use the Plesk autoinstaller over the command line and use the additional string "--add-source". Please read more about it and as well, HOW the additional string is used, by typing "/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller --help".

Sure Parallels did not provide a corrupt micro update?

Can we fix this manually by using an official Parallels source or should we just wait 24h for the mirrors to update and possibly get fixed? What would be the URL to use with --add-source command?

The command line reference for the autoinstaller can be viewed with the command: /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller --help

According to your question "or should we just wait 24h for the mirrors to update and possibly get fixed?", I would suggest to wait and still contact your service provider, because the mirror - issue should be solved by them.
No... Parallels did not provide "a corrupt microupdate", because when I use the official Plesk ressources on several servers, I have no issues at all.

you always have the choice to define additional sources in your sources.list at "/etc/apt" , when you use Ubuntu and Plesk. Consider adding:

For Ubuntu 10.04:

Manually adding the plesk repository to the sources.list did solve the issue for me. Thanks for the assistance!

I also informed Hosteurope about the problem with their mirror, probably they just did not update all the files at once on their servers causing inconsistencies.

As you can see, the error message points directly to your issue: Your nameserver bind9 could not be started.

Please investigate corresponding error - logs, error - messages and depending configuration files to solve your issue.

Well,
http://autoinstall.plesk.com/PSA_12.0.18/plesk-12.0.18-ubt10.04-i386.inf3 wants to have a file named:
- bootstrapper/pp12.0.18-bootstrapper_12.0.18-ubuntu10.04.build1200141223.18_i386.deb

this file doesn't exist. there is only a file:
- pp12.0.18-bootstrapper_12.0.18-ubuntu10.04.build1200141224.14_i386.deb

so, the problem seems to be an inconsistent repository.

Hi,
I am new here and also a bit of a novice.
However I get the same error whilst as jabgoe running the Update from Plesk 11.5.30 to 12.0.18
