PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
Tricky issue. When running the upgrade installer while a long running web server reconfiguration process has not yet finished, the autoinstaller hangs after downloading the latest autoinstaller version.
It seems to depend on how long the other task is running. On the server affected by the issue, the reconfiguration task was running for approximately 25 minutes, because the server has many domains. Afterwards, autoinstaller did not continue.
The autoinstaller process had to be killed. Then, after a restart of the upgrade process, all went through smoothly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Let the server reconfigure many domains so that it takes a long while to complete the reconfiguration process. While that is going on, start an upgrade.
ACTUAL RESULT
Autoinstaller hangs and does not pick-up process again after reconfiguration has finished.
EXPECTED RESULT
Either show that the installation cannot be done while a web server reconfiguration is in progress, or attach autoinstaller to the restarted web server instance after the web server reconfiguration process has finished.
