Hello,
We are running Plesk 8.2 on Linux.
We host joomla site for customers and usually Joomla is installed through Plesk Application Vault.
Joomla installs and works fine but when we log in through administrator and check System Info, Permissions, I see various folders are unwritable, example below.
For all Joomla! functions and features to work ALL of the following directories should be writeable:
administrator/backups/ Writeable
administrator/components/ Unwriteable
administrator/modules/ Unwriteable
administrator/templates/ Unwriteable
components/ Unwriteable
images/ Unwriteable
images/banners/ Writeable
images/stories/ Writeable
language/ Unwriteable
To fix this, I have to either SSH to the server or use FTP to make these folders writeable.
How do I automate this task? I want to give write permissions to required joomla folders once Joomla is installed through Application Vault.
Has anyone come across this issue and automated this task?
It would be a great help if someone can guide me through.
Thanks in advance!
