Autoresponder not working

I am in the task of migrating my old rootserver to a new one (both with Plesk 10.4.4).

On the new server, the autoresponder isn't working at all anymore. Neither the reply is send to the sender nor the mail is forwarded to the mail adress configured in the settings.

It is turned on at different mailnames in different domains (I checked the status with Plesk panel as well as via "/usr/local/psa/bin/autoresponder --info -mail [email protected]" - it is shown as configured and anabled) but no reply is send out. I checked the logfiles in /var/log/ (mail.*, syslog) as well as in /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog, but no entry showing any problem.

Thanks for tipps directing me into the right direction to solve the problem (unfortunately, search here as well as in Google didn't help me on my way for the root cause analysis).

One idea woth to look at:

Looking at the logfiles from the old server (where it worked), I see that the forward and the autoresponder actions are initiated by the handler before-local. It looks like, that this action didn't take place now on the new server. Does anyone know wehere PLESK is defining, which actions are taken by this handler?

One add. remark:

I have tried to recreate the handlers with following proceedure:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --stop-service
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --start-service

without success :-(

All directories in /opt/psa/handlers except "hooks" are empty!
