  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Why is one email of a domain not working, if others are?

Change Maker

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
Version 18.0.60 Update #1
I'm hosted on Ionos with Plesk and my sites run as an external website.
So this means my emails are on my Server of course.
However, on Monday, I stopped receiving emails on one account but not the others of the same domain.
I checked my DNS entries and I hadn't changed anything.
I've now deleted and re-created the account back on the server in case there was some kind of corruption of the account.
On the Plesk Panel, we are able to see test messages sent from other email addresses, but they don't reach

Does anyone else have any ideas?
Here's one test email from the logs that was sent and never arrived

Are you using webmail or an email client? If email client, are you using POP or IMAP? If you're using webmail, check if you have a mail client configured that's popping it but not keeping a copy on the mail server. Otherwise we need to see more logs, use the log browser with real time monitoring enabled searching for the email address in question and send an email to it to see what the logs show.

Thanks. It was Webmail.
An update was that last night I deleted my email account on the server and re-created it.
It now is working as it should. Perhaps something for us all to remember as something to try, if we're not going to lose emails we want to keep.
I pull mine down to Zoho, so I had the emails I wanted to keep.

Thanks for engaging.
