• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

I have server on Centos 5 with last update of Plesk 9.2.3 and in my /var/log/messages the lines below are suspects :

Oct 23 20:16:48 MYSERVER avahi-daemon[4814]: server.c: Packet too short or invalid while reading response record. (Maybe an UTF8 problem?)
Oct 23 20:18:56 MYSERVER avahi-daemon[4814]: server.c: Packet too short or invalid while reading response record. (Maybe an UTF8 problem?)
Oct 23 20:23:12 MYSERVER avahi-daemon[4814]: server.c: Packet too short or invalid while reading response record. (Maybe an UTF8 problem?)

This lines appear about every 10 minutes and this problem since the last 9.2.3 update of Plesk.

What do you think about ?

Thanks for your support.

I have this same problem, did you find a resolution?

Not sure but this seems to happened when the service name in network contains non-ascii characters.

Err = -25582

"the service name in network contains non-ascii characters"

What exactly does that mean?

I'm having the same issue: listener-thread: err = -25582: oserr = 0: errstr = : Network connection is broken.

After some extensive research, this error can happen from numerous reasons... does anybody have some solid information on how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance
