Awstats Update

can anybody shed light on the method by which the awstats can be updated manually on the websites hosted in the plesk 7 server

The usual procedure with the awstats.pl does not work correctly...is there any exe file for the same ?????.
 
C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe
