Backup Manager über slow and broken?

Whenever I click on Backup Manager it takes a very long tome to load the page.

Clicking on Current Backup Tasks never loads.

Where can I look to see what is going on?

So far getting answers on this forum is very discouraging. Is there a better way to get answers?
