  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Backups in server repository don't show up

I have backup scheduled daily. I only just noticed in plesk it says the server repository is empty.

It's set for 7 backups.

What is weird in /var/lib/psa/dumps there are indeed 7 backups with the date and time.

I look inside clients they are complete.

I noticed everything is owned by root:root

What should they be owned by to show up in plesk?

Version 9.5.3 on Fedora 11

I found this:
http://kb.odin.com/en/9352

But I need a fix for Fedora 11 please.

I also do daily backups since october, but in PLESK 10.0.1 in the FTP repository the made backups does not show up ! But if I check via FTP the ftp repository I see them there.

When the overview get fixed ? I am sure the overview worked before !

I have got a ticket open from this since December when I have discovered the exact same problem.

So far two extra fixes they wrote and its still the same. Its still progressing.

I can keep you posted.

Apparently they say the backups are failing during the signing process, caused by a bad certificate. Makes no sense to me as the web pages all have valid working SSL, as also does the server itself and plesk.

Unfortunately it means they are no good as plesk does not see them, however all the stuff is in them, so you could always get to your SQL, http and mail content and copy manually.

Something is no really working with this functionality. I refreshed several times the overview for the FTP repository, like 10 times. Nothing, looked empty. Then I waited for a minute, refreshed the overview again and suddenly I saw 3 pages with all backup files.

There seem to be a read-out / timeout problem maybe.
