Bandwidth Limitation, unable to update limits.

So I have a client who's bandwidth limitation is set to 3000MB/month. They are currently exceding this limit with a useage of 4,000 some.

I'm needing to change the Validity Date of their domain under limits, however attempting to "save" I get the following error:

Maximum amount of traffic: requested -
3 000 MB/month, currently used - 4 976 MB/month

So... I don't want to adjust their limit because I bill for addition bandwidth useage. But I need to update this Validity Date. Anyone else having this problem or am I missing something?
