best solution for backups

we have a plesk 8.2 windows 2003 server using ME, Spamassasin,mysql and sql server express editions. php and .net based web sites so far

we need the backup strategy for this server so as plesk conf and everyting else required to make server functional as fast as possible in future

we have secondary drive with us to be used for backups

so far we had been using HElm 3.2 and with atht we used to use BFW(backup for workgroups ) to schedule weekly backups of primary drive on seconadry drive,

any strategies/links keeping in mind
relaibility, performance etc..
