  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Bind check-names Option

Hello Forum,

I wonder if it is possible to set the check-names option on the bind configuration. I read the article of how to make the allow_transfer (DNS_Allow_Transfer1) option for replication, but I wonder if can I set this option?

The problem is that I would like to configure the dkim records in CNAME, and i can do it but the replication did not work because in the names there are underscore character and bind has problem with it.
