• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Blocking IP's

How can I block any access from given IP's or range of IP's? I notice that most of the forged mail is coming from certain parts of the world and from speaking to others who run ecommerce, most of the attacks on their security originates from the same areas. I'd like to simply close the door.

I am sure this is an easy one but I haven't found the way yet.

You can do it too placing a .htaccess file in your web folder writing this lines:

order deny,allow
deny from 123.45.6.7
deny from 012.34.5.

The third line blocks all the IPs which starts with 012.34.5.
