Plesk 10.4.4 Update #36, Linux 2.6.32-042stab049.6
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
Emails sent from BT Connect servers are bounced with error 5.2.2 Mailbox full.
The mailbox is set to unlimited size in Plesk and emails from other servers are received OK.
The Plesk maillog does not show any sign of the bounced email.
When the same email is forwarded from Hotmail, it is received normally and shows up in the maillog.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Send me an email from [email protected].
ACTUAL RESULT
Email is bounced/rejected as follows:
The message could not be delivered because the recipient's mailbox is full.
<HEMV4BUKER.he.local #5.2.2>
EXPECTED RESULT
The message is delivered.
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Plesk mailbox is set up as a single mailbox '[email protected]'. All actual mailbox users are set up as aliases. When the mail is collected, we use the Vpop3 mailserver program to distribute the emails to the correct users. This saves each user having to download his email separately.
Has anyone seen anything like this before because I am stumped?
