Question call shell script from api rest

There is a way to run shell script with root privileges using the api rest (and not xml)
i thought i need write custom extension and implent callSbin method to do this but the document of creation of new api is poor and other subjectif speaks a lot how consume an api. If someone can give me a tip or help to achieve this it will be very nice.

I need just a call to rest and point with parameter and pass parameters thought the command line shell to do task.

I must write an extension without gui to do this ?
