Can Not Add or Delete Domains

I have a server with Godaddy who also sold me the PLESK interface for setting up domains, etc. I have been happily using this for over a year now and to date have set up over 130 domains. All was working ok until recently when I started to notice that every time I try to add or remove a domain it just hangs. There is not error message or anything, it just hangs there for as long as I want it to. The only thing I can imagine that happened is that I deleted a domain or two directly on the server and not using plesk. In other words, I think I removed the domain via IIS and deleted the directory of some sites directly on the server. Could this be why PLESK hangs when I try to add or delete a site? Also, I THINK I am running 7.6 but not sure, were do I find that out? Thanks so much. Tom
