• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

I recently setup a virtual server and configured the ftp for our main domain but I cannot access it using the chosen login details. I cannot see anything in my setup that is incorrect, nor any reason that it wouldn't work.

Is there something I could be missing?

Sorry for the lack of information!

Thanks,
C

When this happened in plesk, usually it is related to permission issues. Two way to resolve this

1. Uninstall FTP service, and then reinstall FTP service. After that, use plesk reconfiguration module to correct permission and folder mapping.
2. directly run the plesk reconfiguration module and if it does not help, try to resave your password information on that domain account and the permission sometimes will be reset.
