Cannot complete upgrade

Hello,

I have been trying to upgrade from 11.0.8 to 12.0.5 but have encountered various issues - after running the bootstrapper multiple times and applying fixes found in the forum and kb my plesk is still unavailable. At this stage I dont know what to do since everything seems to work except the mail services. I also have a lot of folders at variious places on my server that corresponds to the different versions of plesk. Which one can I safely delete ?

Did you run the command "/opt/psa/bin/repair --convert-mailboxes-to-lowercase" manually, as suggested by boostrapper? If yes... what was the output over the command line, when executing the command?

Tells you again, that the upgrade was not finished, due to previous failures at this stage.​

After the suggestion, please run bootstrapper repair again and post again the new log - file, if you experience any further issues. ( You could use the "insert Code" BB_Code, so that your log - files are in a CODE - format and users are able to investigate the log faster! ).

The path "/opt/psa/" is only for Ubuntu/Debian - based systems.... sorry...

Hi Loic66,

first, please check if the Plesk Control Panel is reachable over "http://your_server_domain:8880". If this is the case, please remove the Plesk - "service-node-agent" with the command:

apt-get remove --purge plesk-service-node-agent​

Afterwards, please restart psa and sw-cp-server with:

/etc/init.d/psa restart
/etc/init.d/sw-cp-server restart​

Explanation:
On some very cases, the upgrade from 11.5 to 12.05 is unfinished and "/etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/agent.conf" still exists, even that it might not be necessary for your system.


To continue, please try again the previous command "/usr/local/psa/bin/repair --convert-mailboxes-to-lowercase" to continue your still unfinished upgrade. Report possible issues and still continue afterwards with a new bootstrapper repair procedure, please. If you experience further issues, please include as well the new bootstrapper repair log.

It has been two days since my server is down - customers are calling me ...

I am paying 10$ everymonth for this licence and I don't understand why there is no support in cases like upgrading - I see that people experiencing a lot of issues with upgrading plesk and those issues are not met by the company that develop, maintain and cash in the money for the software. I am very disappointed!
