hello,

right now im trying the trial version of Plesk 8.2 for windows. i added a new client and domain name, and edited the index.html for testing. But when i try to preview, the index still show the plesk default page. is it because of the trial version? thank you.

and in my plesk account-Sitebuilder Admin-Sites, the S @ status showed X (not published). tried to publish but it gave this error - Error: Cannot publish site. FTP error: Cannot log in to the publishing server. The provided credentials are invalid

Are you sure you made changes in right index.html file?
To make sure you should open IIS > Web sites > select this website > Right click > Properties > Home directory

Your index.html file is there ;)
Also make sure that domain name resolves to ip address of your Plesk server.
If it does not help, clear your browser cache and try again.

Well, this error means what it means ;)
Make sure that you connect to publishing server via ftp using credentials you pointed in domain publishing settings.
You can find explanation of basic publishing errors in Sitebuilder administrator guide:
http://download1.swsoft.com/SiteBui...builder-4.0-win-admins-guide/publish_site.htm

Hope this helps.
