Can't access phpMyAdmin from a direct link

Plesk: 12.0.18
phpMyAdmin: 4.2.5

When I try to access phpMyAdmin directly from the link:
https://mydomain.com:8443/domains/databases/phpMyAdmin/index.php
I get the following error:

Welcome to phpMyAdmin

You probably did not create a configuration file. You might want to use the setup script to create one.

Cannot connect: invalid settings.
Retry to connect

Although when I open it from Plesk it opens normally.. But I have to go to about 6 steps first to open it!
Plesk > Server > Database Servers > Local MySQL server > Databases > Webadmin

How can this be fixed?

Hi mike123,

there is no fix for such an issue. The Direct - Login needs a valid token to work.

Steps to go:

Login to Plesk ( this is needed, because the direct link needs a valid token )

Direct -Link to all databases with the MySQL - ID 1:
https://server_ip_or_domain_you_use.../db_servers.php?cmd=dbwebadmin&db_server_id=1​

If you would like to list the Direct - Logins only for a specific domain, then you first have to choose the specific domain, for example:

https://server_ip_or_domain_you_use_for_the_Plesk_login:8443/admin/subscription/overview/id/1

and then choose:
https://server_ip_or_domain_you_use_for_the_Plesk_login:8443/smb/database/list​

... again, this is necessary, because you need a valid token for direct - logins.

Is there a way to create a custom button for Webadmin ? It does require quite a few clicks to get to.

You could always just install it in a sub-directory of your site. However, this can be a security issue for your website.

It is very easy to install. Download, Unzip, Modify the config file with your settings and then upload.
