  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Can't Activate Expired Domain

Hello Everyone!

Recently a domain's expiration date was exceeded by a couple days. I caught it, corrected the expiration date to next year, then un-suspended the domain. I restarted the server waited 48 hours, however the domain still says server not found.

I poked around in the psa database, and the fields all read properly (status = 0, no overuse issues, etc).

The domain reads as active everywhere, the database, plesk, via ssh, however it is still server-not-founding.

Advice?

Check status of DNS zones of these domains.

The DNS zones appear to be correct. Identical matches to what they were prior to suspension.

However...I am noticing it says the DNS zone is not served due to the suspension. How do I turn this back on?

Following up, the DNS switchy thing on-page says it's active, but I went ahead and switched it off and back on again, just to try a reset. Didn't work.
