Hi,

I am using Plesk 7.5 under FreeBSD 5.3. Mysql in Plesk is working, I can even go to phpMyadmin, and I know Plesk will also not work if the mysql server is down.

I tried connecting on ssh command line, using even to test it with the command mysqladmin version and I get this error:

mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)'

I even tried with mysqladmin -u root -p="pswd" version but the same error..

What do you think is the prolem?

Thanks
