• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can't make domains have 'no SSL Support'

Meanwhile on a newly setup server there seems no way to make any new domain not having 'SSL support'. I want it off for some tests. It says "default certificate (owned by another user)" but there's only one user on the panel - me/admin/root. There's no dropdown enabled to have that changed to other options either, or removed (which seems to say that SSL Support is there.)

It doesn't seem to matter if Service Plans > Permissions > Hosting settings management, or Service Plans > Hosting Parameters > SSL Support are checked or not. i.e. at the Default Plan or the Unlimited Plan. I've tried different combinations. It's regardless of whether the domain is under myself (admin) or if I create a customer to test the difference.

And I'd always push 'Update & Sync' after.

It's Plesk Panel for Linux 10.0.1.

Hopefully it's not a stupid question...

thanks

Dug around a bit more and the domain actually has 'SSL Support' off shown under Domain Name > Account > Hosting Options, after flipping on and off some of the above mentioned switches.

Apparently the 'default certificate' is there just for Plesk admin access itself, although it may be a bit confusing to show up there.

thanks
