Cant upgrade plesk8.2

Hi Guys,

I am having trouble upgrading to plesk 8.3 from 8.2.0.1

The error I get during the install process is:

On the server we run a remote mssql DB server. The sitebuilder DB is on the local mssql DBserver.

Hi Guys,

Hope somebody has a clue on this.

Anyway I was thinking since sitebuilder is not being used on the server I am thinking uninstalling it first, then upgrading might resolve the issue.

However I have other plesk 8.2 servers that do use sitebuilder. An actual solution to the problem would be great. Anyone got any ideas? Is it related to the remote mssql server?

i am a bit confused about upgrade strategy where if we are using SB and wish to upgrade SB as well during plesk upgrade itself

Plesk 8.3 for Windows includes Sitebuilder 4.1 in the distribution package, but your Sitebuilder 2.x or 3.x installation will not be upgraded automatically. If you want to upgrade your Sitebuilder installation, add the following key to command line of MSI or EXE installer when installing Plesk 8.3: WSB_UPGRADE=force

I had tried in past to upgrade plesk 8.1 to 8.2 without SB upgrade
and then ran into series of problems when we manually ran to install sb 4.1 and all steps told by plesk admin in forums failed to solve my issues and ultimately we had to choose to remove this product( as teh worst part the plesk scheduled backup started ending abruptly with weird excepptions)

and now we are doing some test upgrades from plesk 8.1 to 8.3 and 8.2 to 8.3,

would really appreciate if Plesk support can add more detaisl what do after plesk SB upgrade competes and any known issues and how to fix those , if there are any prerequisites which plesk needs ( such as sql login etc) then those shall be highlighted somehow
also i want to know lincending issues with SB ( is it freeware or needs seperate license activation)
