Has anyone compared centos with ubuntu for a server os?

If so, would you post the pros and cons of the comparison?

Ubuntu is a nice OS, but is not very suitable for servers because a version is supported only 18 months, which is not enough.

I think I read that ubuntu 4.1 would be supported for 5 years.
