Centos & Yum Upgrades

I have been trying to find out after I install Plesk is it ok for me to run "yum update" and have the system updated from the Centos repos or should I only update with the Plesk "Updater"?

Definitely use yum to update your OS packages. The Plesk updater only updates the Plesk packages.
