  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

CERT VU#800113 DNS Cache Poisoning Issue

If anyone running Debian 4 has a solution for this please post here. I am working on this as well and debian only offers a "secure" version in the unstable source.

The vulnerability is not in Plesk's packages but in your OS vendor's packages. I believe all Linux distributions have already released updates with (usually backported) patches, so just make sure your system is up to date.

So just upgrading with the standard OS packages should work then? I just wanted to make sure there's nothing specific we need to worry about from the control panel perspective before going ahead.

Thanks,
