CGI Problem

I seem to have a weird problem on some domains, cgi scripts are NOT being executed ... All sites are set up the same way with cgi enabled in Plesk so I can't understand it or be sure how to fix this, it's just happened opn about 6 or 7 sites ???

I was getting a server misconfiguration error on some sites, it was a mystery, still is, I was able to revert back to an earlier server backup without too much hassle so I did that in the end and all seems to be OK now, so non the wiser as to what exacly had caused the issue !!
