Anyone know where you change the default settings for awstats?

I need to add some Extras for google adwords tracking. I tried changing the .conf file for the domain I need this in but it didn't stick. It seems the .conf file for each domain get overwritten every night.

It would be nice to know what process does this. But, I really just need to know if there is a model file or a default awstats config file that Plesk is using when it overwrites each domain .conf file.
