  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Change Plesk login url

Hi,

Right now i can access my plesk control pannel using a strange url :

https://ipaddress.kundenadmin.hosteurope.de:8443/

But i don't like it cause some of my clients can see that, and i don't want them to know that i rent a server at hosteurope.de

i would like to change this url to something like:

https://nameofmybusiness.com:8443

For instance, if i type this address, I get some warning message saying that the Plesk certificate is not valid for that domain.

I don't really know where to start from to solve my problem:

Is it a certificate problem, a domain name problem, configuration of Plesk ???

I would appreciate your help,

Thx,

Lucien

And your Plesk server has this nameofmybusiness.com hostname?

Ok now my Plesk VPS has the right hostname, any suggestions on how to achieve what is in the first message ?
