  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Change the IP of a host site

Hello,
I have a problem on one of the IPs at Plesk and I need to change the IP of that host.

That means site A pointing to XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX ip
must change to point at XXX.XXX.XXX.XXY

Is there any simple way without recreating the host for that site?

Add the new IP under Server > IP Addresses

Then go to you domain > ip pool > add the new IP

Now go to Setup and select the correct IP

Doublecheck DNS to ensure it updates correctly.

That's how I did it, when I went from a test box to live.

Thank you wizbones.

I did that for the domains, but now I am facing another problem. I cannot send emails to a remote server. The domains within the server can send-receive emails. Trying to send email to a yahoo or hotmail account and the emails are not delivered, or not being bounced back.

I checked maillog and it is 0 kb size.

/var/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat

messages in queue but not yet preprocessed: 0

Any Idea?
