• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

client denied by server configuration

New Pleskian
Hi All,

I wake up today to find we have pages on our server (running Plesk 9.2.3, apache 2.2.x etc all on CentOS 5.x) that give either a 403 forbidden or client denied by server configuration errors in log files but it is intermittent. I've looked all through the logs to see what might be causing this issue but it gives no real usable info.

The only recent changes are we've been installing and configuring suPHP and testing it. That's all. I did however take out the mod_suphp.conf file from the conf.d folder so it wouldn't load suPHP and we still have the issue.

Has anyone run into this issue and resolved it?

TIA

Rob
