  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Cold Fusion Add-On question

I have a requirement to migrate built using Cold Fusion technology to my Plesk 7.53 Server. My understaning so far is that you must purchase and install Macromedia's Cold Fusion Server then install on the Plesk Server and then Purchase the Cold Fusion Mgmt Interface for Plesk. Can any confirm this or can I just purchase the $49.99 CF Mgmt Interface add-on for Plesk and still run Cold Fusion websites that have already been developed?

Thanks in Advance

FC

If you want to use ColdFusion on the server you should install Plesk at fist. Then install CF. Plesk license key should have CF support.
Note: Plesk doesn't manage CF, It's only adds ColdFusion extesnions into IIS.

Agree with O, I did just that. I installed and configured plesk first on a clean server. Then i added my plesk lic key with CF support. Then I installed CF 7.

I noted that on the install of CF it asked to configure a site in IIS, I set it to the "default". Then I used plesk to add CF to the domains that required it.
