• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Connection reset by peer - Gmail doesnt deliver email

We run plesk 9.5.2 on Centos 5 64 bits. We get this error 1x a week, last time with gmail: gmail returns email to sender:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 554 554 mail server permanently rejected message (state 18).

In maillog I found the following:

2010-09-04T19:13:35.991320+02:00 prod4 qmail-queue[3532]: dwlib: fd: recv(4) failed - Connection reset by peer
2010-09-04T19:13:35.991350+02:00 prod4 qmail-queue[3532]: scan: scanning the message(drweb.tmp.FiUiNd) sent by [email protected] to [email protected] failed (error: -2)

no tips found in kb.

Thanks!

Philippe
