Well, at least every host I've been with, I was uploading to my account within an hour, without admins having to get involved. Is this feature within Plesk somewhere. I mean, as soon as a client registers, they receive emails stating how to do everything and then can login and begin uploading to their domain. Seems i gotta do everything. Am i missing the cool features here?
 
Please see my response to your post "Backdoor to site..." regarding using your Plesk box as their workstation DNS.

This bypasses the wait time for propagation and will allow them to begin uploading virtually immediately.

You will have to prepare your own instructions for the client, since Plesk does not have them already outlined in how to do this.
