• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Input Create a dedicated block for Plesk Extensions with the top 10 most used extensions

Plesk has released numerous extensions over the years, yet the current Plesk Forum only includes a single section for all "Plesk Extensions." This can make it difficult to find and organize discussions specific to individual extensions.

To improve user experience, I propose creating a separate block for "Plesk Extensions," similar to the existing "Plesk Discussion" and "General Discussion" blocks. Within this new block, there could be sub-forums for the top 10 most used extensions. This would provide a clearer structure, making it much easier for users to navigate directly to discussions related to specific extensions they’re using or experiencing issues with.

In addition to the top 10 most used extensions, it would be helpful to add an extra forum for other extensions.

Example:

Category: Plesk Extensions
  • Forum: WP Toolkit
  • Forum: Log Browser Extension
  • Forum: Let's Encrypt Extension
  • Forum: Docker Extension
  • Forum: Sitejet Builder
  • Forum: SSH Terminal Extension
  • Forum: Grafana Extension
  • Forum: Plesk Premium Email powered by Kolab Extension
  • Forum: Imunify Extension
  • etc.
This approach would improve overall visibility and make the forum more intuitive, allowing users to find answers faster without needing to search through a large, single "Extensions" section.
