• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Question Cron Jobs not running accoring to NextCloud, after upgrade to NextCloud 30/ Hub9

Michael.P

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
AlmaLinux 8.9
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.65
Hi, I have two servers with AlmaLinux 8.9

Plesk 18.0.65

PHP 8.3

2x NextCloud 28 no problems.
1x NextCloud 29 no problems.
1x NextCloud 30 background tasks do not work!

I put the cronjobs directly in Plesk and they run every 5 minutes without errors.

However, with NextCloud 30, I receive the message that the jobs do not run in its management settings.

In the NextCloud Forum I am not the only one with the problem under Plesk.
However, since no one there has an idea, I ask here, because it is probably connected with Plesk.

I hope that someone has an idea here.

Thank you

Hello, @Michael.P. The issue you are experiencing is not caused by Plesk, but by Nextcloud. According to their forum, the version in question is withdrawn and they are supposed to introduce a hotfix for the issues. What I can suggest is to open a support ticket with out team so they can attempt to apply a workaround on your server. To sign-in to support and open a ticket go to:

https://support.plesk.com

If you got your license from a reseller, your reseller should provide support for you. If the reseller does not provide support, here is an alternative to get support directly from Plesk:
