After the latest Plesk and Dovecot update, I had to rewrite a few configs but with my custom config I struggle a bit. After a few hours without any issues, all the clients suddenly stopped working and cannot fetch or connect to the server.
On my server there are about 250 mail accounts active. I am using the latest Warden Anti Spam & Virus extension.
I've also fixed the 99-warden.conf configuration file to the new 2.4x version syntax but without any custom configs in the 99-custom.config file, Dovecot runs fine.
Errors I get (with 99-custom.config):
Oct 01 16:21:22 HOST dovecot[993974]: pop3-login: Login aborted: Connection closed (disconnected before auth was ready, waited 60 secs) (auth_process_not_ready): user=<>, rip=xxxx, lip=xxxx, TLS: Connection closed, session=<AZ6rkRlAo+E+Y5I3>

Errors I get (with or without the custom config):
imap-login: Login aborted: Connection closed: SSL_accept() failed: error:0A000416:SSL routines::sslv3 alert certificate unknown: SSL alert number 46 (disconnected during TLS handshake) (tls_handshake_not_finished): user=<>, rip=xxxx, lip=xxxx, TLS handshaking: SSL_accept() failed: error:0A000416:SSL routines::sslv3 alert certificate unknown: SSL alert number 46, session=<+O5WZR5AvI3VolcL>
Host and IPs are anonyimized with HOST and xxxx.
I don’t get it why the „client_limit (1000) reached” error appears.
