Issue Db Error #1071

Office

New Pleskian
Hi there, I'm trying to create a new table in an empty db.
"
SET character_set_client = utf8mb4 ;
CREATE TABLE `users` (
`id` bigint(20) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
`name` varchar(255) COLLATE utf8mb4_unicode_ci NOT NULL,
`email` varchar(255) COLLATE utf8mb4_unicode_ci NOT NULL,
`email_verified_at` timestamp NULL DEFAULT NULL,
`password` varchar(255) COLLATE utf8mb4_unicode_ci NOT NULL,
`role` varchar(255) COLLATE utf8mb4_unicode_ci NOT NULL,
`remember_token` varchar(100) COLLATE utf8mb4_unicode_ci DEFAULT NULL,
`created_at` timestamp NULL DEFAULT NULL,
`updated_at` timestamp NULL DEFAULT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`id`),
UNIQUE KEY `users_email_unique` (`email`)
) ENGINE=InnoDB AUTO_INCREMENT=48 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8mb4 COLLATE=utf8mb4_unicode_ci;
"
This is the sql cose, but when I commit an error occur:
#1071 the key is too long. Max length is 767

I tried to use utf8 or utf8mb4 but nothing change.
Actually on my server: Plesk Obsidian v18.0.20_build1800191101.13 os_CentOS 7

Hope you can help me. Thanks

AFAIK "Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes" limit exists in the MariaDB 5.5.6

In MySQL 5.7 and upwards this limit has been increased to 3072 bytes
