• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Debian 12 to 13 Dist-Upgrade

Hi folks,

Debian 12 (Bookworm) looses regular updates on June 10th, 2026. Till now I have not found any dist-upgrade possibilities from debian 12 to 13. On the roadmap page they aren't even planned. I know that the current "idea" of plesk is to migrate from debian 12 to 13 via reinstalling and migrating. But: I have over 100 servers to migrate, which would mean, that i have to create the current infrastructure as duplicated one and move over.

How do others this? Do you really migrate manually all data to new machines? What is planned from PLESK side about this topic?

Kind regards,
Holger

Hi, Holger. Our team is currently focusing on the dist-upgrade script for Almalinux and Ubuntu. Once completed, they will start working on a dist-upgrade script for Debian. I am afraid, I cannot provide an ETA at this moment.
