• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Default Template for client

I'm working on a scripting process so we can create clients and domains using the command line instead of the control panel.

one thing that would save huge amounts of time and make it still fliexible would be to be able to assign a client a domain template to use as default.

is this a possibility? We can create the client, and manually specify the limits but it would cut down the hard coding tremendously by using a domain template.

Templates are working onnly from within Plesk Panel. Creation utilites do not provide with such feature.

Domain template usage through Comannd Line

Will there ever be this functionality in Plesk? I mean it kind of defeats the purpose of templates if you have to specify all the parameters through the command line anyway. Wouldn't you agree?
