  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Different php versions in Plesk php settings and php -v in one directory

straddi

Basic Pleskian
Hello, I have the following problem and cannot find a solution:

I ran sudo update-alternatives --config php in the root directory. It is set to auto mode, php -v results in 8.0.3.
7.3.31 is set in plesk Websites & Domains> PHP Settings> PHP support (PHP version). The query via the link next to phpinfo () also shows 7.3.31.
I go over putty on the server in the appropriate directory but php -v shows that version 8.0.3 is running.
That also seems to be true, since error messages appear, since the scripts only under 7.3. to run.
Can one of you tell me where the error is and how I can get the version set in Plesk to run in this directory?

Thanks very much

Greetings Straddi

hello @straddi ,

Plesk install php to the /opt/plesk/php/
Code:
:~# /opt/plesk/php/7.3/bin/php -v|head -1
PHP 7.3.31 (cli) (built: Sep 24 2021 04:56:10) ( NTS )

so if I understood you correct you need to call appropriate interpreter with full path

p.s> I've moved your question to the appropriate forum.
