Disable .htaccess

Azurel

Silver Pleskian
Hi,

For optimize performance, I want disable .htaccess files and set all settings in vhost.conf.

I have set this in vhost.conf of each domain:
<Directory /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs>
AllowOverride None
</Directory>

Is this the best way?

EDIT:
With "AllowOverride All" each access to a file will check for a htaccess. With "AllowOverride None" this is deactivated.

Hello,

If you want to completely disabled the .htaccess file on your server then you can add "AllowOverride None" in vhost config
