  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Disable or Decrease mysql.daily.dumps

I've noticed that plesk makes mysql dumps everynight. I'm doing database backups on my own, so I don't need to waste like 4GB of space on these backups. They are stored in /var/lib/psa/dumps. How can I tell PSA to stop making these, or at least to just keep one or two copies instead of the default 9 or 10.

Additionally, I have it setup to do weekly full backups to my personal FTP directory on another server. But, it seems like it is also saving backups to my local server drive! I'm trying to keep all backups in another location to save drive space. Ideas?

Thanks! Jeremy
