Question Disable or hide Smarthost tab on the domain mail settings page for customers

The 18.0.76 release introduced Smarthost configuration per domain. How do I disable or hide Smarthost tab on the domain mail settings page for customers? Allowing only administrators to configure the smatrhost for a domain?

I haven't upgraded any of my servers to 18.0.76, but on the public Plesk demo noticed that the smarthost settings is available by default to customers too. This is something I very much like to avoid, or at least have some control over. I am afraid customers on shared hosting servers will (unintendedly) misconfigure a smarthost for their domain and as a result will clogging the mail que with deferrals and a like, straining server resources.

Also, do messages send via a smarthost still count towards the mail limit?

Hello,

The panel.ini option to control visibility:
[mail]
smarthost.domain.enabled = false

Allowing only administrators to configure the smatrhost for a domain?
Unfortunately, no way so far.

Also, do messages send via a smarthost still count towards the mail limit?
Should be.

Thanks Michael, that's good to know :)

I would really love to have more granular control over this feature by having the option to enable/disable this via service plans. Being able to configure a smarthost per domain is really useful to have, it's just not a suited feature for all hosting customers to have access to.
