• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hello,
I am trying to find a solution to allow a domain manager to add/remove/configure users that can ftp files to/from the domain.
I configured the domain manager login to only allow desktop in control panel and then only display the "add web user" and "configure web user" controls.

This works fine and the domain manager login can create users such as ftp1, ftp2, etc.
I can then use FTP to put/get files on the server in the web users respective direcories.

The only thing that I would like to do is to have the pages/files not accessable by http.
i.e. only FTP access will list the files or allow them to be read/downloaded.

The main reason that I am trying to do this is as a workaround to not being able to find a web page interface (for the hosting customer to use) to add/remove/configure ftp users on a domain that is hosted on Windows IIS w/plesk.

Any ideas?
